Cross-Dimensional Approaches to SSG/R

Welcome to the second module of the OSCE Training on Security Sector Governance and Reform (SSG/R). After completing both e-learning and in-class parts of this module, you should be able to:

• Explain how the concept of SSG/R is applicable to the OSCE comprehensive concept of security and its different dimensions
• Identify entry points for strengthening cross-dimensional co-operation in different types of OSCE programmatic support to SSG/R
• Describe practical steps that can be taken to strengthen cross-dimensionality in planning and implementing OSCE’s SSG/R-related activities

The module is based on the second chapter of the Guidelines on SSG/R for OSCE Staff (2nd edition), which is required reading for this course.
