Results-Oriented Programming in the Field of SSG/R

1. Introduction


Welcome to the fifth module of the OSCE Training on Security Sector Governance and Reform (SSG/R). After completing both e-learning and in-class parts of this module, you should be able to:

      • Describe the results-based management framework and its different components in the OSCE context
      • Develop long-, mid- and short-term results, indicators and means of verification for OSCE’s SSG/R-related programmes and projects
      • Develop a theory of change in the field of SSG/R
      • Discuss approaches to programming, monitoring and evaluation for results-oriented OSCE support to SSG/R

The module is based on the fifth chapter of the Guidelines on SSG/R for OSCE Staff (2nd edition), which is required reading for this course.
