This e-learning course provides a toolbox for journalists investigating corruption. We will introduce tools and techniques that you could use in journalistic investigations to find more information. There are many online platforms that can help you, and many of them are available for free. In this course we will guide you through these platforms so you will know where to look for what. The course has a practical orientation and you will find many tips by experienced journalists about how to investigate smarter.

Target Group

This e-learning course has been designed for journalists investigating corruption. Its audience is, however, not limited to investigative journalists. In fact, everyone who wants to dig deeper into a topic they are researching can benefit from the tools, tips and techniques introduced here.

Grading

You will be asked to answer 41 questions in this course. There are questions at the end of each lesson, and there is a final test at the end of the course. In order to complete this course successfully, your point score will have to be at least 50% of the total score.
