About This Course

This course is an introduction to digital safety for journalists. It also covers the topics of digital harassment and intimidation, which are disproportionately felt by women in the field. The course presents information about responding to digital security incidents, but is not intended for journalists currently in crisis.

Requirements

This course can be taken by any journalist, female or male, who has basic knowledge and experience with digital technologies.

Grading

You will be asked to answer 38 questions in this course. There are questions at the end of each lesson, and there is a final test at the end of the course. In order to complete this course successfully, your point score will have to be at least 50% of the total score. The final test contributes the most to your score.
